I'm Anshik Yadav. I studied electrical engineering, though that has little to do with what’s here. What actually brought me here was spending a few years thinking seriously about climate change, and what regular people could realistically do about it day to day. That’s still part of where this came from, it’s just not the main thing on my mind day to day anymore.
About Sunshine Shift
Sunshine Shift started as a place to write about those ideas. Over time, reality set in. Products chosen mainly for being eco-friendly did not sell well for me, and the costs involved made it hard to keep going that way. So the approach changed. Today, this is a shop for kitchen and dining, personal care, and cleaning products, chosen mainly for being genuinely useful. Where a material or a maker also lets me make a more thoughtful choice, I do, but that’s not the whole promise here. Being useful comes first.
